If you thought the spices in your kitchen were only good for bringing out the taste in your favorite dishes than think again. These great flavors have been proven to be good for your health.

(1) Ginger

It has a long history of use for over two hundred years and contains a chemical that is effective in relieving gastrointestinal distress. Ginger is also helpful with symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection, bronchitis, cough, menstral cramps, arthritis, muscle pains, migraines, asthma, and nausea (from chemotherapy).


(2) Cinnamon

Cinnamon has been around since 2000 BC and used since ancient Egypt. The bark extract from a cinnamon tree have been used traditionally as medicine around the world. Some studies have found cinnamon may help with fungal infections, Diabetes Type 2, Alzheimer Disease, HIV, and Multiple Sclerosis.


(3) Cumin

It would be wise to add this spice to your diet. It has a wide range of health benefits that aids in digestion, insomnia, respiratory disorders, asthma, bronchitis, common cold, concentration, lactation, anemia, skin orders, boils, cancer, concentration, insect bites, and painful stings.
